Official Contest Rules
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Contest open to individuals
who submit original videos that they have personally created. Entrants
must be legal residents of the United States, all contestants must be 18
years of age or older as of June 1, 2007. Prizes will be awarded to those
who submit the most creative videos. You must have access to the Internet
and a valid email address in order to enter or win. Contest begins June
1, 2007 and ends December 31, 2007.
HOW TO ENTER:
Visit our website, www.ifgaywascool.com, click on upload a video, and
follow the instructions to register and upload. Submit a video that is
1 to 6 minutes in length.
CONDITIONS: Entries will be void if they are incomplete or are
not able to be viewed due to technical error. By entering, entrants
acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility
requirements.
Submission must be the original work of the person who registered and
created and uploaded the video. Entrants must be the sole owner of the
copyright of any video he or she submits. All entries remain the property
of entrant, provided however, by submitting entry, each entrant grants
to Sponsor, and Sponsor acknowledges that’s its ownership rights
in the Video shall be limited to, an unconditional, royalty-free, non-exclusive,
irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual license in and to the Video (the “License”) By
submitting entry, entrant represents that (s) he has the unrestricted right
to submit their Video and to grant the License to the Sponsor and no such
Video infringes upon any third party’s proprietary or other rights. Sponsor
will have unrestricted right to use, alter, publish and display each Video
and/or transfer its License rights in and to each Video however it sees
fit without further approval of or payment to entrant.
For all Entries: Submissions which are deemed lewd, obscene, pornographic,
disparaging of the Sponsor or otherwise objectionable material may be disqualified
in the Sponsor’s sole and unfettered discretion.
PRIZES: Monthly Top Prize – Winners Choice either a “ifgaywascool” tee-shirt
or a $15.00 gift card to NVC Pride Products Marketplace. At conclusion
of contest, monthly winners will be evaluated and one will be selected
GRAND PRIXE WINNER. Grand Prize Winner will receive a $100.00 gift card
to NVC Pride Products Marketplace.
JUDGING: Beginning July 1, 2007 and ending January 1, 2008, one
video from the previously month(s) submission (April 2007 thru December 2007)
will be selected each month by a panel of judges. All entries received before July 1 will be judged on July 1. Entries will be
judged based on the following criteria creative concept, originality, and
funniest. Judging will be conducted under the supervision of Green
Leaf Productions, Inc whose sole decisions are final and binding on matters
relating to this contest. Winners will be notified by e-mail and may
be required to complete Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release. These
documents must be signed and returned within seven (14) days of issuance
of notification. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and
the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another winner. Taxes,
if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. No transfer or
substitution of prizes permitted. Winners agree that the sponsor, and their
agencies and their employees shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage
of any kind resulting from participation in this promotion or from the
acceptance or use of the prizes awarded.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest open to legal residents of the United States
who must be 18 years of age or older as of June 1, 2007. Employees
and their immediate families and household members of Green Leaf Productions
Inc, New Visual Concepts Inc, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries,
and divisions are not eligible. This contest is void in Puerto Rico
and all other U.S. territories and possessions and where prohibited. Contest
is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Entries
received after entry period are void. By accepting the prize,
winners consent to the use of their name, and video entry for advertising
and publicity purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited)
by Sponsor for editorial purposes concerning this contest or succeeding
contests and for editorial publicity, special events and advertising purposes
in connection with promoting Green Leaf Productions, Inc, its products,
it Web site www.ifgaywascool.com and/or
this contest or succeeding contests. Sponsor reserves the right to
modify video or video titles and publish or advertise the video without
approval, acknowledgement or compensation unless prohibited by law. By
entering, entrants agree to defend, release and hold harmless the sponsor
and their agents from and against any claims, action and/or liability for
injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this
promotion (including in connection with the use and /or exploitation of
the submitted video) or from the acceptance or use of prize awarded. Sponsor
reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winner. This
Contest will be governed by the internal laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
USA and any applicable U.S. Federal laws. Any and all legal actions or
claims arising in connection with this Contest must be brought in a court
of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America.
RELEASE: Neither Sponsor, their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions,
advertising and promotion agencies, nor any telephone network or service
providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of
entry information, or for any human or other error, technical malfunctions,
lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect,
line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability
to access any online service or web site, or any other error or malfunction,
or any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s
computer related to or resulting from participation in this Contest, or
for any injury to person or property, including but not limited to video
equipment, arising from the entrant’s participation in this Contest
or for the use or misuse of any prize won. Releasees are not responsible
for lost, late, illegible or misdirected entries or e-mail.
ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS: Caution: Any attempt by an entrant or
any other individual to deliberately damage this or any website or undermine
the legitimate operations of this contest is a violation of criminal and
civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right
to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such individual to the fullest
extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce any term of these Official
Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. If for any
reason the Contest is not capable of being executed as planned, or infection
of computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, action
of entrants, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of
Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity
or proper conduct of this Contest, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole
discretion to disqualify any suspect entry and entrant and to cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the Contest and/or award the prizes from among all eligible,
non-suspect entries received as of the date of the termination, as Sponsor
determines in its sole discretion. Entries not complying with all
rules are subject to disqualification.
WINNERS LIST: Winners list will be posted at www.ifgaywascool.com after
January 15th, 2008.
